I think from the outside, I might seem like the type of person who would be super into decorating and perfecting my bedroom and apartment so it looks like an aesthetic palace dropped into a Brooklyn apartment. Unfortunately, this assumption is about as incorrect as incorrect gets. I don't know why my creativity stopped with makeup and fashion, but interior design just isn't a forte of mine. I had some prints hanging up in my Cleveland apartment, but even that room was bare and lacked personality. But, alas, instead of putting this off any further since this is as good as my room is going to get...here's a little sneak peek into the nothingness of my bedroom in my NYC apartment.
Everything is very monochromatic, which seemed like a good idea at the time until I realized that I was going to have to be cleaned consistently if I wanted to keep it pristine. Something I should reconsider in the future but it does look incredibly crisp when the sun is actually out and it's not torrential downpouring for what seems like a week straight. Torrential might be a little dramatic, but consistent rain is just a bummer in general. Where were we? Oh yes, my complete and utter lack of any good eye for interiors.
My room is about as simple as simple gets, so if you're into that, then hey, you're in good company. But if you're super into aesthetics? Eh, please don't judge, I'm trying my best!

Are you into interior design? Where do you like to shop for your fave pieces?
Haha, no, it's not a priority for me either :P

DeleteLove your desk setup! I love decorating my room but it's also always messy so you can't even see decorations... oops.
