I bought my first makeup products in middle school. Remember when Taylor Swift was the face of that natural line at CoverGirl with the tinted moisturizers and those really bad like, tinted lip balm kind of things? I needed those products. Taylor Swift wore them, so I needed to wear them. Then I started watching beauty videos on YouTube soon after and found myself going down the black hole of all things makeup related.
Many and many of thousands of dollars later (I've calculated my lipstick collection, this, unfortunately, isn't just an assumption), I'm left with six drawers full of...god knows what, really.
I've gone through every single possible phase I could've gone through. I went through my eyeshadow palette phase, where I needed every single palette I could get my unpolished grubby paws on. I wanted to try out half a dozen mascaras at once to see which gave me the best and most luscious lashes. And everyone and their mother knows where I stand with lipsticks.
But there was a semi-brief phase I had with buying blushes that left me with quite the collection for someone who literally wears the same two colors depending on what season it is. So in honor of the blushes that sometimes get neglected, here they are seeing the light of day and getting their fifteen minutes of fame on my blog before they go back into the drawer and are no doubt forgotten while I reach for Sin or Rockateur.

NARS
Alright, Francesca, we get it, you like NARS makeup products. Cool it already. Truth be told, I put these pictures at the top because they look nice and because they're one of the few blushes that are all intact and don't have pan peeking out from the bottom. I have four full-sized shades and then one mini shade that was a gift from Sephora for the VIB or Rouge status thing that I think is exclusive to members. I love these blushes y'all, a lot. I have Sin, Cactus Flower (cream, not powder), Orgasm, Dolce Vita, and Goulue (the mini). I really like that these blushes aren't completely matte and give a very faint illumination to the skin instead of just a one-dimensional color.
Sin is going to forever be my favorite for every time of year besides summer, but y'all, Orgasm is hyped for a reason. It's just the perfect warm pink for everyday wear and that gold shimmer is gorgeous and subtle on the skin.
Tarte
The Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes were huge back in the early 2010s, thanks to our favorite beauty gurus. I bought Dollface because my fave at the time, Meghan Rienks, talked about it a ton. Yes, the same Meghan Rienks that I just recently bought frozen mango chunks because of, albeit like seven years late. Because of this hype, I have...a few. I, admittedly, had more, but gave them away to my younger cousin because I didn't wear them and just hoarded them because that's what I do.
I have the shades Dollface, Exposed, Stellar, Peaceful, and Fantastic. It's pretty clear that I prefer two more than others, though, in my defense, the small one I hit pan on is pretty damn small. I've also owned Dollface, the pink shade, for much longer than the rest. Despite the fact that I do like a little more of a dewiness to my face now, I still think these blushes are great, to this day. The best? Probably not, but I think Exposed is worth having in your collection because it's a beautiful neutral shade if you want to go a little crazy with your eyes or lips.
NYX
NYX blushes are the blushes I should be using price wise. I'm kidding, I'm kidding. By the time I got around to NYX blushes, I was starting to get a little blushed out and started weaning off the spree to focus on spending my money elsewhere. Never thought to save it though...
I have Glow and Orange for the cream blushes and my beloved Terra Cota as my powder blush. I'm not a massive cream blush fan, but these two are super pigmented and stay put on your cheeks.
Benefit
I had a huge obsession with the Benefit boxed blushes back in the day too because of, you guessed it, beauty gurus. I've actually also gotten rid of some because I just never wore them, these three survived the cut. How did Sugarbomb stay? That I'm not quite sure of...
I have Rockateur, Sugarbomb, and Coralista. I wear two of them from time to time, but I think it's pretty clear by the state of one of the boxes that I wear one far more than the others...Rockateur looks insanely intimidating in pictures and unswatched in the pan. I mean, it's a mega shiny rose shade that looks like it'd turn your cheeks into a sparkly mess. But alas, instead it just gives you a gorgeous natural rose sheen. Definitely in my top three favorite blushes of all time, for sure.
Pixi and Elf
And, of course, we have the miscellaneous blushes. I should own all of Elf's blushes because they're great and are similar to the NARS blushes. Also, the one I have in Candid Coral is a total dupe for Benefit's Coralista. Just saying! Elf products are pretty underrated and worth a try, especially since the prices are so fair! If you don't like it, at least you only spent a couple of bucks on it rather than upwards of twenty or thirty!
The Pixi duo is called Rose Gold and obviously also has a highlighter in it. I haven't used it enough to form an opinion on it, but I love the convenience of this duo!
What's one of your favorite blushes?
Wow this is an amazing collection! I love blushes too but never tried one from NARS. I've heard so many good things about them so I'll definitely try.

The Tarte blushes are SO GOOD! I've toyed with getting a new shade to refresh my collection but after writing this post, I think I'm most likely set on blushes for a while....
