Seven days down, one day to go! Sadly, NYFW is coming to an end. As we started filtering into the last few weeks of fashion month, I'm going to do what I did last season and stick with weekly, or potentially bi-weekly round-ups for the other three circuits as to not bombard this site with collections. However, I figured continuing the daily tradition of NYFW round-ups would be fun, so here we are!
Nobody does princess moments like Marchesa. With gorgeous fluffy skirts, bunched tulle, a exquisite necklines, the Marchesa spring collection exuded elegance to its highest degree.
Naaem Khan's collection had a beautiful Mediterranean feel, with the relaxed silhouettes, rich, vibrant colors, and intricate patterns to tie the inspiration into each piece.
Delpozo is always in my top five favorite shows to see every season. Every look is fresh and clean and holds your interest long after the show ends. The colors are always eye-catching without being neon or obvious. The designs are unique and even with voluminous skirts or embellishments, still carry a simple air about them. I love, I love, I love.
I love Michael Kors collections more and more as the seasons pass. I loved that this collection had a floral motif without relying on the pattern itself. Pieces had rosettes sewn on or shown through lace detailing. The colors were occasionally leaning toward the neutral side, an earlier spring kind of attitude laced into a usually bright collection. It was an interesting choice that I think worked, especially judging by the rest of the neutral heavy spring collections shown this past week.
Yet another collection that I would no lie wear everything from. There was something very sophisticated about Theory's spring collection, yet no piece felt stuffy nor boring. They were crafted for the cool girl at the office, the fashion forward professional everyone strives to be.
What were your favorite looks from day seven of NYFW?
