I had every intention of having today's post be a pros and cons of not having a roommate post...but last night was Parenthood's series finale and I cried so much at the end that it emotionally exhausted me and I couldn't get myself to write anything of great use. Never fear, I'll be posting TWO things tomorrow (that's right, two for the price of one) to make up for my scholarly (#LULZ) absence today.
But kind of in honor of the series finale last night, today's post is going to be all about the funny, ridiculous, and completely bizarre things that my parents and brother have texted me over recently. My mom said she was excited to read this post today...I'm sure she's not as excited now.
Starting with last night, after asking my mother what funny story I should tell in a blog post...
The next text was from November when I sent my mother a picture of my crafty luggage tag. She clearly doesn't approve of my shopping habit.
We have a nice election day themed one coming up. I sent my mom about five to ten (approximately) pictures of Harry Styles and this was her only response.
Next one is a game changer. This is a photo that my dad sent at about 9 o'clock at night on a random Monday in October.
Cash is my parent's favorite child.
I really wanted my mom to see Maleficent with me and she refused until she has this realization.
Parents just don't understand caps lock..or the meaning of hashtags...
And last but not least, we have a Halloween text from my father. Can you tell I'm his daughter?
What's the funniest thing that you've gotten in a text from your parents or family recently?
