She Said I Think I'll Go To....New York?

That's right, this girl is heading to New York City for the long weekend. I'm catching up with family and just trying to get away from school for a bit. I've been working very hard lately and after a week of nonstop work, I'm definitely excited to step back from it and just enjoy time to myself.

I've got my two books in tow (I'm bringing Gone Girl and Me Before You), Nylon's Tavi Gevinson issue, as well an old issue of Porter that I have yet to touch. I've got plenty of ideas in my head to write for my NaNoWriMo story, and more than enough music for the trip.

Right now, I can guarantee that these few songs will be on repeat for quite a while:

3. "You Are In Love" by Taylor Swift
4. "Sheila Put The Knife Down" by Junior Prom
5. "Cigarette Daydreams" by Cage the Elephant

I think I did a fairly nice job packing this time around. I didn't overpack, in my opinion, and I'm pretty sure I can zip my suitcase without having to sit on it. Cheers!

Not entirely sure what I've got planned for my time in New York City, but I cannot wait to hang out with my cousins and other family. It's always a good time with them.
