1. Blueberries
I don't know if it's just my area or what, but blueberries have been dirt cheap and absolutely amazing lately. I eat them by the pints, no joke. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, whatever meal it may be, I need to have them. There is not a doubt in my mind that I will do everything in my power to have them down at the beach with me come next week (ah, seven days until Delaware!).

I only started reading this book a few days ago, but Sheryl Sandberg is really doing it for me. I grew up with my mom having a more "prestigious" job than my father (my dad is a great guy, don't get me wrong), so it never really occurred to me that there was a pretty big injustice in the workplace until somewhat recently. My mom wasn't, and still isn't, a stay at home mother and both my brother and I have turned out fine. I just think it's unfair that women still aren't treated equally in some workplaces, despite what studies and statistics show about our work ethic.
3. Statement earrings
I went from loving simple earrings, to hating them and not wearing them for a solid few years, to kind of liking them, to all of a sudden love them. It's been a rocky road to get to this point, but I've developed into a total earring junkie. I only have a couple of pairs of statement earrings (both from J. Crew), but they're perfected with simple hair and an understated outfit.
4. Back to school shopping
I LOVE SCHOOL SUPPLIES. There, I said it (again). Shopping for them over the past week has been super exciting and stressful at the same time. I start school again four weeks from now and I'm getting more nervous as the days pass. I took a lot of gen-eds my first year, and now I'm completely delving into my majors. What if I'm not good at journalism or Spanish? I can't do anything else! It's definitely going to be a stressful few weeks, but at least I'll have cute school supplies to get me through it.
5. Headscarves
I blame Harry Styles, for everything, but mostly my obsession with wearing scarves in my hair. This also might have something to do with Blair Waldorf, but I'm not entirely sure yet. I digress, I've love using scarves as a hair accessory, mostly to assure that my second day hair doesn't get too out of control.
6. Working at the market
The past two Fridays (and this coming Saturday), I've worked at a farmer's market with my best friend because his family needed help with some shifts. I've had an absolute blast meeting people traveling through New York state. I love chatting with strangers and seeing where people are from and just meeting really nice people. My friend always says I'm being too polite, but it makes sales apparently and gets me tips (which I refuse, but still). It's been really nice to pick up some extra work, but it also gives me time to spend with my friend. He's going off to college this fall too! And even further than I am in the opposite direction. Boo :(
7. Provence Garden candle
I'm trying to burn through my candles before I go back to school because I obviously can't do so there. I smelled this back in Cleveland around finals time and told myself that I would get it when I could use it back at home. It smells so fresh. It's not super strong, but once you burn it for long enough it can carry through a room.
What have you been loving lately?
