It is really no surprise that I really like to read. Reading 35 new book is on my goal list for 2014! I'm constantly looking for new reads, adding titles to my ongoing list of books I need to buy or take out of the library. I just really enjoy the act of reading and getting immersed into someone else's story, whether fictional or not. These seven have caught my eye recently.
1. Welcome to the Real World by Lauren Berger
2. I Shouldn't Be Telling You This by Kate White
3. Friday Night Lights: A Town, A Team, And A Dream by H.G. Bissinger
4. One More Thing: Stories and Other Stories by B.J. Novak
5. My Drunk Kitchen by Hannah Hart
6.
Not That Kind of Girl by Lena Dunham
7. The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt
As of late, I've been enjoying non-fiction books more than fiction or my kryptonite, YA novels. I just haven't read great fiction over the past year (with the exception of TFIOS, Tiger Lily, and Divergent), but I have read some great nonfiction books that really got me into the idea of memoirs and books of essays. I especially enjoy books from comedians (hello, Ellen and Tina Fey).
What books have you been itching to read lately?
