Essie's 'Mojito Madness'

In honor of the upcoming drinking holiday, I decided to show a little bit of St. Patrick's day spirit. I'm Italian (hence, Francesca) and don't partake in this holiday but I had Irish friends who were badgering about not wearing festive nail polish, so guys, this one's so you.

Essie's names are absolutely perfect. This color could not be a more perfect representation of this drink because of the mint leaves. Just Google mojito and bask in the accurateness of this nail polish name. This might have been from the 2012 Summer collection but I'm not 100% positive.

It's definitely a fun, eye catching color. I wore this to my hair salon and my stylist said it was a funky color. I couldn't agree more, but I adore it! It's a lime green, but not the neon sorts; it's literally the color of a lime. I love the cream finish it has and how it's more muted rather than being a BAM! In Your Face kind of color. It's bright enough to be springy or summery, but it's not tacky.

As for application, I got it opaque in about two normal coats. Depending on the length of your nails, you may want to go three. It all depends on how thick you coat it on and such. I have had this on since Monday and I only see minor tip wear on my right thumb nail, but all other nine are in tact. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a great spring to summer transitional color.
