I, unfortunately, could not make it home for Easter this year to celebrate with my family for the usual brunch festivities. While I could have bummed around all day moping about not being able to see my family, my friends—who were also staying on campus—and I banded together to have a beautiful Easter celebration, including takeaway pizza and Starbucks.
Of course, I had to break out the tulle skirt despite the fact that we were just hanging out in their dorm room. I was in charge of picking up the drinks and the pizza on my way back, so it was nice to finally give the skirt its first official outing. It has only been worn for photos and once again on Christmas Eve, but that was just family so I don't really count it as taking it for a spin.

After a festive and filling late lunch of pizza, garlic toast, and breadsticks, the three of us retreated to Abby's room to watch the first nine episodes of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. If that doesn't scream EASTER, then I'm not sure what does.
Abby and I went for a run/walk to CVS after our Netflix marathon because it was absolutely gorgeous out yesterday. And then, of course, we blacked out and ended up in Starbucks? What a strange and rare occurrence...
Since they didn't have the charger that we were looking for at CVS, we ventured over to Target...which wasn't open...so we went to the Wal-Mart across the street. Somehow I ended up with cheese nips and cookie dough, but I didn't question it.
Yesterday definitely proved that it's not what you're doing or where you are, but who you're with.
What did you do on Easter Sunday?
